Dr. Samuel W. Ascioti, a native of Springfield, Massachusetts, graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. Dr. Ascioti graduated from New York Chiropractic College in July 2016 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
During his time at New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Ascioti was very active in clubs, co-ed sports, and campus committees. While at NYCC, Dr. Ascioti earned his class’ Distinguished Service Award, made Dean’s List, and was elected as his class’ Vice President. He enjoyed working with the Student American Chiropractic Association, the Student Life department, and the administration’s Museum Committee. In his final year in school, Dr. Ascioti was active in the New York State Chiropractic Association’s District 17 as a student representative.
In the community, Dr. Ascioti is excited to have the opportunity to work with the Kiwanis Club of Corning. He also is an active member of New York State Chiropractic Association’s District 16 and the American Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Ascioti understands the importance of staying active and appreciates the role activity plays in alleviating back and neck pain, and thus encourages his patients to stay moving. Dr. Ascioti utilizes Diversified technique, instrument adjusting technique, flexion-distraction, and ConnecTx instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique.
In August 2016, Dr. Ascioti married his chiropractic colleague and best friend, Dr. Ashlee L. Kates-Ascioti, whom he met while studying at New York Chiropractic College. Together, they have two wonderful cats – Luna and Severus – and a spunky bunny named Peppa. Dr. Ascioti is an Eagle Scout, and enjoys running, hiking, camping, history, and science-fiction.
